Calories burned

MET is an activity's metabolic cost relative to rest. Pick an activity, enter your weight and time, and get a realistic calorie estimate; usually humbler than your watch promises.

What MET means

1 MET is your burn at rest (~1 kcal/kg/h). Running at 9.8 MET means burning almost 10× more than on the couch. Values come from the Compendium of Physical Activities and are averages; your session's intensity can shift them either way.

In the app: Tabata Timer by fit.how has these calculators built in, plus an interval timer you can read from across the gym. See the app.
